Despite the fact that I’m in the business of self-help, I will tell you right now, you are not broken or incomplete or in need of betterfication (new word). Really, what you need — what we all need — is permission to be… real, natural, ourselves.

Granted, there are many deeply nourishing, mind clearing, heart opening, endorphin releasing, energy boosting, positively reinforcing daily (especially, but not necessarily, morning) rituals you can do to fuel your body and your day. Warm water with lemon is one of them.
